East Side Mario’s is a well-known Italian dining brand recognized for its bold personality and energetic visual style. During my time with Recipe Unlimited, the team explored the possibility of refreshing the brand’s iconic logo, and I was invited to develop a creative direction and concept proposal for the potential redesign.
I produced a full set of exploratory identity assets including logo concepts & ideation, color palette directions, and updated typography treatments showcasing my approach to evolving a legacy brand while preserving its core spirit. Although the logo update was ultimately not pursued, the concepts were well-received and demonstrated my ability to rethink established identities with clarity, strategy, and respect for brand heritage.
