Gooderham & Worts Neck Tag Design
This concept was designed to speak to the heritage of the brand and the quality of the whisky. The aged-paper background is a nod to the refined yet industrial look and feel of the brand. The wax seal with the embossed lettermark speaks to quality and uniqueness of the product. And lastly, the Gooderham & Worts factory graphic at the bottom of the tag speaks to brand as being an integral part of Toronto's history.
Pike Creek Neck Tag Design
This Neck Tag was designed to specifically call out the that that Pike Creek whisky is aged for 10 years in Rum barrels. The background of the tag is a direct callback to the rum barrels the whisky is stored in.
The use of big, bold brand statements on the front help reinforce the brand voice and tone. Lastly, the social media callout on the backside is a call-to-action for the customers to interact with the brand.
Neck Tag & Sell Sheet Design
While at SJC, I had the pleasure of working on new creative designs for a company called Corby Spirit & Wine. I was tasked with working on 2 of their whisky product brands; Gooderham & Worts, and Pike Creek. The focus was to design an appealing 'Neck Tag' as well as a comprehensive sell sheet for each of the whiskys.
This project presented a unique set of challenges as well as opportunities, as these pieces had to be both informative as well as brand building pieces.
These concepts have since been chosen and approved by the client to proceed onto the development stage.
